About

Hey! I am a Philadelphia-based costume designer and theatre artist. I am all about creating costumes that inform and uphold an actor's performance. I strive to create designs theat are all about the details; after all, costume design is as much about finding practical solutions as it is about creating beautiful looks. My background in script analysis and dramaturgy from my MA at Villanova both play a huge part in how I approach costume design.

My training comes from a wide variety of sources; I was a graduate assistant in costumes at Villanova University, where I built costumes, served as assistant designer, and eventually wound up completing a thesis in costume design on the Bakkhai Variations. After grad school, I was a costume design fellow at the Hangar Theatre, where I had the incredible experience of designing 4 shows with a talented team of designers while also assistant designing on the mainstage. Soon following, I participated in the costume design mentorship with Wingspace Theatrical Design, which helped give me the tools to transition to professional theatre full-time.

I have worked in stage management, wardrobe, dramaturgy, and design with companies like Hedgerow Theatre, Azuka Theatre, Inis Nua Theatre Company, Quintessence Theatre Group, Gretna Theatre, and Chester Theatre Company. I am currently the costume stock and rentals coordinator at the Walnut Street Theatre.
