Mr. Digger's Spooky Christmas Radio Plays

In this cheeky take on the Christmas radio play, a mischievous host takes control of Christmas programming to create a broadcast that is a bit less cheerful and a bit more macabre. This new play, written and conceived by Anna Kurtas and Nora Gair, takes three radio plays originally produced in the 1940s and weaves them together as a horror-infused holiday program. I stuck to a neutral color palette with pops of cranberry and marigold to evoke the colors of the holiday season while not being too immediately cheerful. Costumes were 1940s-lite, with stretchier fabrics that would accommodate the movement needs of the production.
